Breast Cancer Rehab
Learning you have breast cancer can leave you feeling weak, isolated, and defeated. The focus of our breast cancer and breast disease rehab offered at Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy is to provide a program specializing in education, rehabilitation, exercise and emotional support in order to advocate for patients diagnosed with breast cancer or breast disease, and to improve quality of life during and following treatment. Rehab is specifically geared toward helping patients achieve their goals by working to decrease pain and inflammation, improve mobility, increase strength, as well as provide an individualized home exercise program. However, with physical therapy at RMPT, you’ll have a support system that will encourage you every step of the way during your recovery process, until your pain has subsided and you have regained your strength.
Our Breast Cancer Rehab program offers:
- Pre-Op/Post-Op Initial Evaluation
- Monitor complications associated with surgery/treatment
- Improve range of motion and strength
- Individualized home program and education on treatment expectation
- Emotion support & resources
- Act as an advocate for patients needs
- Lymphedema management
