Dr. Guillermo Paiz, PT, DPT, CSCS

Guillermo earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas. His clinical expertise focuses on outpatient orthopedic care and sports rehabilitation, specifically any type of racquet sports. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. Growing up in a very active household in Guatemala, Guillermo has played many sports throughout his life. He played Division 1 tennis at Fairleigh Dickinson University and given his passion for health and exercise, Guillermo pursued a B.S. in Kinesiology prior to physical therapy. He holds a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist certification and has extensive experience in personal training for people of all ages ranging from athletes to those who are new to exercise. Additionally, he has prior experience with pediatric physical therapy, treating children with a wide variety of orthopedic, congenital, and neurologic conditions. Outside of work, Guillermo loves to play tennis, pickleball, hike, mountain bike, camp, disc golf, and spike ball.  As avid travelers and explorers, Guillermo and his wife Victoria are always planning their next adventure along with their Australian shepherd Kylo and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new baby boy due in May 2021.
